You will need to be logged in as a "Manager".
Navigate over to "Data Approval", and then "Allowances Approval".
From this dashboard, managers can view requests that employees have submitted. Managers can choose to either approve or decline requests, and email requests for data changes or data inputs.
To approve an employee's allowance request, select them from the left-hand side menu. The menu displays the quantity that the employee has requested, and possibly the pay rate they have specified. Double-check this information for accuracy. You may need to edit the request by selecting it and making necessary changes.
To Approve or Decline an Allowance Request, tick the appropriate box. If you decline a request, it may be worth selecting "Require Data Change" to notify the employee via email that they need to update their request.
If an employee forgot to request an allowance, the manager can add the allowance manually. Select "Add" to enter the employee's request, and fill in all relevant details. Alternatively, if you prefer not to enter the missing data yourself, you can select "Require Data Input" along the top of the page.
