How to Set Up Wellness Leave

Wellness Leave is an additional paid leave type that you can set up in Crystal Payroll.


To set this up, follow the steps below.


  1. Navigate to "Company Settings", then "Payroll Settings".
  2. Under "Leave Settings", locate "Other Leave Entitlement".
  3. Tick the box for "Wellness Leave", enter the eligibility requirements, and click Save.

(This will be applied to all new employees that you add to the system.)


Set up for Current Employees

  1. Go to "Employee Settings", "Employee Details".
  2. Click on "Default Entitlement".
  3. Set up the entitlement requirements for the relevant individual employees.

(This only needs to be done for current employees. All future new employees will have the information entered.)


Adjust the Entitlement Balance

  1. Navigate to "Entitlement Given".
  2. Select "Wellness Leave".
  3. Add an entry under reason "Special Adjustment".

Please note

  • The system will not automatically reset this entitlement figure.
  • The entitlement will be recorded in days, not hours.
