When to Reinstate/Undo Employee Termination

Modified on Thu, 3 Jul at 10:43 AM

When you think you have made a mistake with an employee’s final pay, navigate to "Employee Settings", "Termination". Select "Terminated Employees" from the dropdown menu in the top left-hand corner of the page. Select the employee from the left-hand side.

Undo Termination

Select Undo in the top right-hand corner. The employee will be moved to the "Current Employees" list and all their leave entitlements will be refreshed back to the system. If the button is greyed out, then this means that they have already been processed and paid their final entitlement. To undo a mistake in this instance, you will first need to amend that pay period.

When you have already terminated an employee and they have returned to employment, navigate to "Employee Settings", "Termination". Select "Terminated Employees" from the dropdown menu in the top left-hand corner of the page. Select the employee from the left-hand side.

Select "Reinstate" in the top right-hand corner and set the date that they have started working for you again. A whole new account will be created for this employee.
