Setting Up API
Sign up for an API account here: https://api.crystalsoftware.nz/
Once registered, you'll receive your login details.
After receiving your credentials, log in to access your account.

Once logged in,
Click "Permission", then "Create".

Enter support@empowersoftware.co into "User Email" (do not put in your own details).
Enter the "Company Name" as "Empower Software",
Enable "All Permissions",
Type in a reason: "Integration",
Tick the "Terms of Service",
Finally, click "Save & Send Email".

Setting Up Crystal Payroll
Head into "Company Settings", then "Import / Export".
Select "Empower.API" from the bottom of the "Data Import Settings" dropdown menu.
Click "Save".

If you have Staff IDs in Empower and would prefer to match the data using these, go to "Company Settings", then "Payroll Settings". Open "Advanced Settings". Under "Other Settings", tick "Enable Employee Staff ID", then click "Save".

Then, go to "Employee Settings", "Employee Details", and set the Staff IDs to match those used in Empower.

For assistance with the Empower setup, you may need to contact their team by emailing support@empowersoftware.co.
Using the Integration
Empower may provide guidance on how to export the timesheets.
To import them into Crystal Payroll, once exported from Empower, go to "Process a Pay", then "Time & Income". Click "Data Import" on the right-hand side.
